I just want to ask wether this software is traceable on a larger network ?

For 2.1.4
It is not traceable on un-managed network , i.e: wireless network. network connected by HUB.
It is very hard to trace on managed network. one have to physically have access to every port of all managed switches, and have right tool at right time. and if any part of the network have wireless or HUB, it's not traceable.

For version before 2.1.4 , specially 2.0.8 2.0.9 .
It is traceable on wireless network.
It is traceable on managed network. one can locate the netcut user in few seconds with right software.
