Since 2.0.9 , there are some suggestion to add auto start, but the first release 2.1.0 and 2.1.2 were not well designed, as it didn't left user a choice to config the start up. again, thanks to many user who point this out. and here is new release , with the goal to service us better. Auto start up: here is the answer. and I am thinking to change the default behavior at next release. so no worry. In short: 1. You can disable auto start up with version 2.1.4 , by click on Option Button. It's very easy to do it. just directly on the top right side of the user interface with a button of "Option" About Protection: Do you need to run netcut in order to be protected? No, just netcut-defender is enough to protect your network. Will netcut-defender be able to protect all my PC on network? Only protect the PC which install the netcut-defender. Are Both netcut and NetCut defender does the protect? Yes, so if you run netcut and enable protect, you will be protected. if you run netcut defender you are protected too.

Many of user interested to know how many Iphone/Andrion are connecting to their network, and want a real time fast query tool. Good news for 2.1.4 version user , it's is built in now. Please see below on how to use it. How to find iphone/ipad/HTC in your network? Remember each smart phone will have a MAC address just like any other computer on your network. and , as long as a device have MAC address, it's detect able. Now, how do I tell MAC address to Company ? arcai.com has created a MAC address to company/Brand database at http://www.arcai.com/mac-addressnetcard-brand-checker.html , you can query it in real time by input any MAC address found from your network. But that's not easy enough for user yet . one click to check brand button here. After netcut finish find your network's MAC/IP mapping, you can simply click on "find type" button, which will bring you to a list of IP/MAC, and click on "Query IP/MAC Brand" , you will get the brand of all devices inside network.

When you about to CUT off someone, it's very fine if you are the network owner. and kick off users who are not suppose use your resource is about to happen in one second. if you are network Admin, Giving the tools original purpose, please also consider following solution. 1. A Free network/Un managed network, means anyone can transfer any packets with any SRC MAC address. the network admin should consider upgrade the hardware if at all. an unmanaged network switch has another name: HUB. HUB at it's nature it is just a connection of 8 line of wires into all connected ports , it connected all NIC into one media, every packet is a boardcast, and everyone can hear anyone talk :) .Imaging you sit inside a supermarket , or some political community party in TAIWAN/South Korea, that's HUB way of communication. Obviously There are many disadvantage of HUB beside it's real purpose : connect NIC at Layer 2. If you are network admin, please treat this message as something you need spend effort to improve ASAP.
